Raw Coffee Beans

A RainForest Alliance Certified bean coming from some of the best farms in Brazil. A lot of chocolatey richness. Roasting Notes: Since Brazilian coffees are grown at relatively low elevations the Brazil coffee beans are not particularly dense. For this reason a Medium-Dark Roast (Full City Roast) is recommended – be careful not to choose too dark of a roast as it may cause an ashy bitterness.

As with low level Brazil’s, this coffee should be darker roasted to around Full City + to Italian to bring out the flavours

Works through a full spectrum of roast profiles, medium through to dark work best.

A very delicate coffee that needs to be roasted just righ in our opinion. A midway roast between FC & SC, nothing past full city plus seems to work well.

Being a PB it will darken quicker than you will want it to, but follow it through to just past first crack. This will have given it time to round off slightly into a juicy bodied coffee.

Like with most robusta coffees, takes a little longer to hit the target roast, but best results tended from just before full city +, this avoided any of the medicinal robusta flavours becoming too prominent.

Midway between first and second crack. Works reasonably well at a slightly darker profile.
